I can’t believe this is happening, but I’m going to auditions for So You Think You Can Dance today (Thursday). Wish me luck! And hopefully after all this I can reblog regularly since I’m not all over the place. XD
DANCE AUDITIONS THIS WEEKEND!!
…First one was OK. Not my best, but still gave it my all. Second dance auditions were much better, but again, who knows. So many great dancers. So many styles. Only so little slots. XD
Tonight I’m hoping I can finally do my lifts and start my running program. Gotta get in to tip top shape for the ULTIMATE DANCE AUDITIONS!!!

I haven’t been on lately. School, choosing courses, and recovering from the stomach flu. I’ve been losing followers left and right, but it’s all right. I hope everyone else is having good time with life. =D

Sorry I haven’t been on lately… College is so stressful, life is so stressful, everything is so stressful.
But with fall break coming up, I’m hoping to get ahead in my studies, re-center myself, and stop having this feeling of being dragged everywhere I go.
Despite all that, I pray that all of you tumblrs are doing well, or will get better! =D

Going well so far, but I need to still learn how to pace myself and get into the habit of being a bit ahead so that I won’t be scraping by or catching up all the time.

Everything Was Going Well Thursday
Until I clipped my knee on the wall while trying to do a monkey at parkour. The monkey is one of the moves in parkour that I’m afraid of. It seems that once I get on the wall, my body freezes, or when I try to jump, I’m hesitant to go all out. Well that cost me. It’s healing, but I’m afraid that my right knee is going to be messed up, because it has been sore throughout the summer.
Other than that, first day of ballet was great, but so awkward. I wanted to freestyle, break into a harlem shake or something. But I have to learn the formal styles of dance in order to not only broaden my expertise, but to be more whole as a dancer.

I Ordered All My Books
Around $350.00. It’s been worse, but hey, I think I might consider investing in a Kindle… Some of the editions that were in Kindle format were only $10-$20, compared to $40-$50+. Yikes.
Buying Textbooks
Money and stress. Seriously, college textbook prices should be fueling this economy. XD
Parkour Practice
…Was brutal last night. Great, but brutal. I banged the knee on the railing, shin on the wall, and scraped the skin off my ankle. But I feel INVIGORATED.
I have more energy than I have had for some time, and it’s going to be great to see how parkour, weightlifting, dance, and pilates/yoga, culminate into my physique by the end of this year. Fitness is going to be key in helping me stay healthy, focused, and energetic.
Day two of parkour here I come! =D
Goals Post!!
It’s not easy living every day to the best of your capabilities… If it was, then the world would be a much better place, for the most part. However, one can always try. There might be failings, successes, or just plateaus, but if one is always trying to achieve for something better, then one is in the making of becoming someone better.
I’m changing things up a bit, so I’ll have fall semester goals and overall life goals.
Fall Semester Goals:
Fitness goals
- Weightlift 3X a week (Starting Strength program)
- Cardio 2-3 times a week (running and/or dancing)
- Practice dancing, separate from cardio, specifically bboying, tutting, locking, and other styles
- Make it to parkour practice every evening
- Keep to my macros
- My goal this fall semester is to work hard for at least an A- in Chemistry, Computer Science, and Caribbean Poetry
- Manage my time
- Keep to my sleeping schedule/keeping my sleeping diary
- Go to the library at least once a day to study
- Follow my study habits
- Don’t procrastinate and do things early
- Go to professor hours and use the Writing Center
- Growing in my personal relationship with God
- Keeping in touch with my family and learn how to continue to love them, despite our fallouts
- Grow my friendships with people
- Focus on what’s truly important right now to succeed
- Challenge my comfort zone in a healthy, positive manner
- Write every day, one for the journal, and one for creative writing
- Practice one thing I’m not good at
Cray Cray Goals
- Training for Olympic figure skating (need to find a coach though…)
- Get into a 1/2 marathon (I want to do the Tinkerbell run, but I’d have to find a sponsor)
- Auditions for So You Think You Can Dance (this is the most likely goal to be achievable, but who knows…)

MOVED INTO COLLEGE TODAY!!
I’m only living temporarily though in the room I’m in; very complicated rooming situation that smoothed out though. I just can’t wait to start the new year and get ready to study, exercise, and become wholly me.
Which reminds me… I still need to update my goals page. XD
Starting Next Week
I’ll have to reorganize my life, reconsider my goals, and set up how the next fall semester will be. I’m going to be back at school (YES! Will talk about that later), however, it needs to be a different year, different strategies, to get different, hopefully positive results.
So look out next week for not only revamped goals, but also workout schedules and what not. Between the moving, packing, and sheer nausea I’m experiencing, I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll get everything done. XD
